I am a Doremi Advance Diploma graduate and a former baking teacher at Doremi.
Many people may still think that baking is a craft for kids who can't read, but it is not. I had already completed my diploma in accounting at Taruc before I started baking, but I really liked baking so much that I chose to study baking after I graduated.
I was 23 years old when I started baking, and when I was looking for a school, I wanted to find one that would teach me knowledge and skills. I wanted to learn things that I could use to solve problems when they arose instead of wasting them. Happily I found it.
When I enrolled at Doremi, I was a bit apprehensive at first, but over time I really learned a lot of what I wanted to learn. Don't think that baking is really just about making cakes and baking them, but when you go deeper you realize that we learn a lot of scientific principles and life lessons from baking, it's incredible, isn't it? There are a lot of people who think that there is no future and no money after graduation from baking, and the child graduated from the school is also very confused, so they can only do cakes and do not earn much money. I also want to refute this point, in fact, the road of baking is also very wide. You can be a baker, like innovation can go to the r & d department can also sell raw materials, like to show their own can be a demo chef, like to do desserts can be a pastry chef and other occupations, of course, you can also choose to start their own business when the boss, and I have found my favorite direction and career in the learning process, I chose to stay as a baking teacher. Some people ask me why I chose to stay and become a teacher. How did I realize that I wanted to be a teacher? In fact, during the process of studying for the Advancement Diploma, we will come into contact with many different departments and fields. I've tried all the areas I've just mentioned and not mentioned, and I realized that I really love to share the knowledge and skills I've learned to make more people aware of the baking industry, and my teacher here is able to bring me to learn more. She doesn't take or hide any knowledge from me. I can perform better here because my teacher also lets me learn how to teach students and I have learned more from her experience. Finally, I would like to share some thoughts. I am very grateful to my teacher for selflessly teaching me a lot of knowledge and skills, but a lot of students or parents think that their children learn worse or slower than others because of the teacher's problem. In my opinion, in fact, not, the teacher is to teach me a lot of knowledge and skills but if I do not practice hard, do not try to improve themselves, do not seek progress, I can not do so well. So don't say it's not profitable or has no future. As long as people are not lazy, good to learn, and constantly seeking progress is not afraid of no way out or not make money.

也许到现在也依然很多人觉得烘焙是给不会读书的孩子们学的一门手艺,但其实不是的。我本身其实在读烘焙之前已经在taruc完成了diploma in accounting 但只是真的太喜欢烘焙了所以毕业后还是选择了就读烘焙学业。
我开始学习烘焙的时候是23岁,在找学校的时候就想要找能教会我知识和技术的学校。我希望我学到的知识能让我在遇到问题时能解决而不是浪费。很高兴的是我找到了
在doremi就读的时候 一开始当然也会抱着忐忑的心情,但时间久了我真的学到了很多我想学的知识和技术。别以为烘焙就真的只是学做做蛋糕烤烤蛋糕,其实当你深入了解你就会发觉烘焙我们也会学到很多科学的原理和人生的道理,不可思议吧。也有很多人觉得读了烘焙毕业了没前途也没钱图, 孩子毕业了也很迷茫就只能做做蛋糕也赚不了多少钱。这点我也想反驳,其实烘焙的路也是很广的。你能做烘焙师,喜欢创新的能去r&d department 也能卖原材料,喜欢展现自己的也能当demo chef,喜欢做甜点的更能当pastry chef 等等的职业,当然你也能选择自己创业当老板, 而我在学习的过程中找到了我喜欢的方向和职业,我选择了留下做一名烘焙教师。有些人问我为什么我会选择留下做老师呢?我又怎么样发觉我想要当老师呢?其实在就读advance diploma的过程中 我们会接触很多不同的部门和领域。刚刚我提到和没提到的总总领域我都试过了,我发觉我真的很爱分享我所学到的知识和技巧让更多人认识烘焙这门行业,而且在这里我的老师能带着我学到更多。她也不会收着或隐瞒任何知识不让我学习。在这里我能更好的发挥因为老师也会放手让我学习怎么教学生,跟着她也让我学到了更多的经验。最后 我也想分享一些感想,我很谢谢老师无私的教会了我很多知识和技巧,但很多学生或家长就会认为孩子学的比别人差或慢是因为老师的问题。在我看来其实并不是,老师是教会了我很多知识和技巧但如果我不努力练习,不努力提升自己,不求进步,我也没办法做的这么好。所以别说不赚钱或没前途。只要人不懒,好学,不断求进步就不怕没出路或赚不到钱了。

Hello! My name is EMILY.
It has been almost 5 years since I joined DOREMI RECIPE BAKING CAREER ACADEMY.
After I graduated secondary school, I didn't know what I wanted to do and my mother asked me if I wanted to try Baking and I agreed only because I didn't know what to do.
I joined the free trial class and I enjoyed it very much. So in 2018 I joined DOREMI RECIPE BAKING CAREER ACADEMY. I am very happy and learned alot from my teacher, not just baking knowledge and skill but also about developing a professional behaviour and soft skills.
Now I am a teacher at DOREMI RECIPE BAKING CAREER ACADEMY . I am very proud to be able to teach and pass on what I have learned to my students.

Hello, my name is Jinghong from Seremban, NS.This year I am 21 years old and I have been involved in this industry for 3 years. At the beginning I joined Doremi Recipe’s part time course for 4 months where the process was very interesting and I learned a lot of knowledge about baking. During the 4 months I realised that I am in love with baking so much and I decided to proceed with their Advanced Diploma course to further enhance my skills. In these 18 months I experienced a lot, our teacher was patient, well equipped and my coursemates were friendly. With a blink of an eye, I got through this very quickly and I felt unwilling to leave. After graduation I found a job in a cafe easily as I had the Doremi certificate. At work I haven't had any problems as the skills and knowledge that I learned with Doremi Recipe was helpful. Now I'm a dessert chef in this industry. Overall I am grateful for the patience of Ms Tess in the past two years and that marks the end of my beginning. Thank you.

When I joined Doremi Academy, I learned a lot of knowledge and the principles of baking. The academy also held many events so that we could devote ourselves to creating products and themes of our own style. Although the process was very challenging and tiring, I always think of it as a great memory. The teachers were very patient and actively led us out of the difficulties step by step. The teachers also made us understand that baking is not for people who aren't good at studies, but for people who are interested in baking. After all, there are top talents in every field!
After I started working in society, I found that it was very different from when I was studying at the academy, but this is very normal. The difference is that the efficiency of work must be faster, unlike when I was in the academy, I can spend more time. In addition, if I accidentally made a mistake in the academy, the teacher would tell us that it can be forgiven as long as we do not make the same mistake twice. It's different when working outside. If you make a mistake, you will be scolded. But every experience makes you wiser, and it's okay when you become proficient and that is what Doremi Recipe can guide you with.
在Doremi学院上课时,学会了很多烘焙的知识和原理,而且学院也会举办很多event让我们可以更投入地去创造属于我们自己风格的产品和主题,虽然过程很狼狈也很累,可是每当回想回去都觉得是个很棒的回忆。老师们都很有耐心也很积极地带着我们一步一步的走出困境。老师也让我们明白烘焙不是给不会读书的人学的,而是给对烘焙有兴趣的人学的。 毕竟行行出状元嘛!~
出来社会工作后,发现和在学院学习的时候很不一样,但是这些都是正常的,差别就在工作的效率必须要变快,不像在学院的时候可以那么悠哉,而且在学院的时候不小心犯错了,老师还会告诉我们只要不是同一个错那就没关系,在外面工作就不一样了哦,犯错了会挨骂。可是经一事长一智,慢慢熟练了就没问题啦。

Hi, I'm Kelly Chan, one of the advanced diploma students from Doremi. Not only did I learn the hard skills but I also learned the soft skills. Both skills, knowledge, behaviour are all important to be a professional baker. Once you gain baking knowledge, you may modify recipes and apply that knowledge to create anything you want! It feels like an experiment just like adding or reducing ingredients, flavours, steps and many more combinations. It is always an exciting result at the end. Doremi Recipe provides many kinds of indoor and outdoor activities and events. These are opportunities to learn more and enhance your experience which is unique compared to other academies. These experiences become very helpful to the future whether you decide to work or start-up your own business.
The teachers at Doremi are very professional in delivering knowledge, skills and behaviour. They are always serious when conducting a class but friendly and willing to share all the knowledge and skills to us students. The teaching and education system here is efficient as it is a 2 way learning system in small groups, hands on practical training but of course, your enthusiasm and devotion are also indispensable. I am currently doing my further studies on the hands on entrepreneur programme here at Doremi and I wish to explore more in the baking industry.

Hello, my name is Jeremy Chan and I enrolled in Doremi Recipe in 2020.I wanted to excel in baking. I was able to learn the basics of making bread, cakes, pastries, etc. The teacher is patient and good at teaching. I chose DOREMI RECIPE because the teacher was willing to take me as a special student disregarding my disability.
